Birds of a Feather Tag

I made this tag using the Birds of a Feather set by Artistic Outpost, colouring the background with Cosmic Shimmer misters and drawing around the birds' eggs with a white gel pen. I used Tim Holtz tissue tape for the ruffle at the bottom, and a grungeboard bracket covered with vintage photo ep for the bird's branch. Die cut branches added a touch more white.

House ATC by Carol Fox

Hi, Carol here. Today I have a tri-fold arch to share with you. All the stamping is done directly onto the ATC sized house by masking the images as I went.
I have a full tutorial for this on the Unruly Paperarts blog today if you would like to see exactly how it was done.

I used the following rubber stamp sets by Artistic Outpost

Whimsical Melange
Birds of a Feather.

Tell the Time and Find Your Keys!

Actually that's not a very catchy title for a blog post, but I was gifted this lovely wooden key holder which also incorporates a clock, and I thought would be perfect with the Birds of a Feather stamps by Artistic Outpost, with a little Whimsical Melange for good measure! I painted the robin with Distress Inks and glazed him with Glossy Accents, and sat him on a grungeboard bracket covered in Vintage Photo ep, by way of a branch.

Dragonfly Necklace by Carol Fox

This week I used a Bezel and a dragonfly charm to make a necklace. I have added reclaimed watch parts and some odd beads to it, before filling it with resin.

Once the resin was set I aged it all with a quick rub over with Inca Gold to age it a little bit.

Ballooning Over Paris

I made this greetings card using the Paris Exposition and French Flight sets by the Artistic Outpost, stamping a selection over some patterned paper using various distress ink colours. I used a die cut tag which said Greetings and positioned the word Dare Devil underneath to go with the hot air ballooning theme. For the cog embellishments, I used a die to cut them from black shrink plastic, sprinkled them with distress ep in Vintage Photo for a rusty look, and then shrank them with a heat tool.

Arch Tag

Whilst going through some old stash yesterday, I came across this arch shaped tag book. I thought the arches ideal for making into hanging tags.

and so.... I begin with an old piece of serendipity paper that I had used glimmermist on. Added a bit more glitter through a stencil.
Used Lost Coast dictionary 'dream' stamp for the background. Focal image of the girls comes from an Artistic Outpost set Birds of a Feather as well as the flourish.
Happy Monday

Paperbag Hugs Lavenderbag By Carol Fox

I have been playing with some TAP lately and I have had some small bits and pieces of it left over, so I have used a piece of it to stamp onto using the Paperbag image Hugs.
I coloured my image using spray inks that I squirted onto my craft mat and picked up with a water colour pen.
I made up a small bag the size I wanted and ironed my image onto it.

I have tied it with a long ribbon loop for hanging on the inside of my wardrobe door.

I used
