And finally...

...my last post as guest.

Again, it's using Songbird by Prima and the words from Artistic Outpost's Neverland.

It's suprising how much mileage a few little stamps can have.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my three simple makes these past few weeks. If you missed them they can be found

and here

Thank you for your kind words...they've been very encouraging and great to receive.

xx Jo

With Love...

...From me to you on Valentine's Day :0)

Clean and simple designs are not always the easiest of cards to make. Keeping those tiny marks and smudges away are difficult (for me anyway lol) and wave back at you like a flag. I thought I would keep these in to show you that its those little 'errors' that make each card individual when handstamped.

There are a couple of tiny dots I can see (just flecks) and also the bird could have left a darker imprint...but hey ho, thats how it goes....an original :0)

Happy Valentine's Day xx

love

ps...I see that currently the Prima stamp set Songbird is currently sold out. A similar idea to this card (altering the card proportions to maybe landscape/DL  or square) could also be created from the clear stamp set, also by Prima , Songbird No.1

Think lovely thoughts...

Hello everyone!

I'm was so pleased to be asked to appear as Guest Artist for Happy Daze this month. It's like old times again :0)

With the theme for the Happy Daze challenge this month of  'Love is all around'  I thought that the beautiful stamp plate Songbird by Prima would be perfect along with one or two other elements. What I didn't bank on was it being sold out before I got to show my card *doh*.

The text 'Think lovely thoughts' is from the wonderful 'Neverland' plate by Artistic Outpost.

I added a tiny piece of a torn music sheet , a sequin flower and a punched out glitter paper heart from my stash of bits and bobs. That gorgeous turquoise colour is a spray available from Happy Daze- Patina Vintage Cosmic Shimmer Mist

I hope that you will get to join in with the challenge- whether you need to make a Valentines card or item for a loved one, or just to let someone know you are thinking lovely thoughts about them.

See you here again next week hopefully :0)
