This week I've gone all masculine for Father's Day next Sunday.
I started with a size 8 tag, added a bit of torn text from a book. Then used Distress Stains to make a background. I added some acrylic paint through a mask for the next layer.
Then I did some stamping with Timber Brown Stazon with the 7gypsies venice set of stamps
I stamped the steampunk balloon onto some white card with black archival, cut it out and coloured with watercolour pencils. Once dry I glued into position with some glue and seal
Finally I edged the tag with some chalk ink and added a ribbon :-)

Have a great week

Dragonfly Necklace by Carol Fox
This week I used a Bezel and a dragonfly charm to make a necklace. I have added reclaimed watch parts and some odd beads to it, before filling it with resin.
Once the resin was set I aged it all with a quick rub over with Inca Gold to age it a little bit.

Steampunk Box By Carol Fox
This box began its crafting journey as one of these pencil boxes. By adding die cut cogs and Verday paint it has become old and battered looking.
Finishing it off with some rusty chain and a mixture of found and newer objects it now looks completely different.
There is still time to enter this months challenge of Steampunkery, all the details can be seen on the original BLOG post.
