Cherub Box... By Moira Sutton


This square wooden box has been used for this project. It was painted with Inca Gold paints and a collage image was added.
The leaves are Blackberry Ferro through the Dylusions Luscious Leaves Stencil.

Drama Queen Tag By Moira Sutton


Larger sized tag using  Distress stains in shades of Dusty Concord and Brushed Pewter in the wrinkle free method for the background. Over stamped with Glitz stamps in Dusty Concord Distress Ink. The main image used is a Teesha Moore Zetti stamp. It has been edged with Graphite Ferro through a Chequered Dots Dylusions Stencil.

Gilded cage by moira Sutton


Main Image is by Scrolls Work
Background is Antiqued Bronze Distress Stain
The leaves are using an Emboss it Dabber through Dylusions Luscious Leaves Stencil and then embossed with Antiquities Embossing powder.
The Bird and the Flower have both been coloured using Verday Paints.

Tea For Two By Moira Sutton


I have used Verday Paints on these two ceramic cups. On the Bluey one I used mainly copper and brass which go blue, and on the rusty one I have used mainly brass and Iron which give this lovely rusty effect.



You can achieve lot of interesting results with these paints by using the different colours on the same piece. If you don't like the colour just add more layers, but wait until the first one is dry or it will not give you the lovely effect you want.

Paddy and Minnie play with the quoit - A canvas by Moira Sutton


There are a good selection of canvas's available from the shop in a variety of sizes, also canvas items including shapes and journal books.

For this canvas spray inks and crackle paints were used on the main background, various rubber stamps were used to create interest finishing off with acrylic paints.

Zettie Tag By moira Sutton


The background has been created by using colour wash ink and Dylusions Masks. The stamp for the main image is by Teesha Moore. It has been finished with various charms, all of which are available here.

UTEE Texture Tread Bag Charm By Moira Sutton


The new texture treads available in the shop are really lovely and as you can see from this Bag Charm they give fantastic results with UTEE.
This was made using a memory frame which was placed onto the texture tread and then Cosmic Shimmer UTEE was poured into the frame and when set the Texture Tread was removed.
It was finished with perfect pearl highlights.
A simple Ball chain and swivel clasp were added to make this into a lovely bag charm.

UTEE Texture Tread Necklace By Moira Sutton


The new texture treads available in the shop are really lovely and as you can see from this necklace they give fantastic results with UTEE.
This was made using memory a frame which was placed onto the texture tread and then Cosmic Shimmer UTEE was poured into the frame, and when set the Texture Tread was removed.

Vintaj Patina Necklace By Moira Sutton


New In the shop this week are the Vintaj Patina by Ranger, these give some lovely affects onto metal as you can see from this necklace that Moira has made using them on Vintaj charms, Moira has used the Patina sets Rusted Hardwear and weathered Copper on her necklace. There have also been a lot of re-stocks in the vintaj range available in the shop this week as well as some lovely new additions, there is now a great selection to choose from in the shop.

Prompted by Ann Briggs who organises a monthly play day craft group I recently did a "She Art"  online class with Christy Tomlinson.  I must say it was fun and I was delighted when she collaborated with Pink Paislee to bring out a range of new products which arrived in stock this week.  You can find them in our "She Art" section.

Forget Me Not - Canvas By Moira Sutton


There are now a great selection of canvases available from the shop. One of them has been used for this lovely canvas by Moira.
Claudine Hellmuth paints have been used for the background which has been stamped and texture has been added with gilding flakes and Tim Holtz Tissue tape.
The little bird is a hand made embellishment and it has been created using Pardo clay with a sugar craft mould,  after baking it has been coloured with Inka Gold paints.

Cat Who Got The Cream - Canvas By Moira Sutton


This canvas has used one of the new size canvases that are now available in the shop.
The Background has been done by using Texture Paste through the  Crafters Workshop Harlequin Screen.
The background was then painted with Claudine Hellmuth paints.
It has been embellished with a large Antique bronze Filigree Corner.
